Bus Drivers Needed

The Doniphan R-1 School District is accepting bus route driver applications for immediate employment and for the 2021-2022 school year.  Employment may be considered full time with a work day up to 8 hours.  Beginning pay for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year is $11.35 per hour plus full benefits.  Beginning July 1, pay will start at $12.25 per hour plus benefits.  A valid Class B driver’s license with passenger/school bus endorsement, and current background check is required. If needed, the district will help the successful candidates obtain CDL endorsement and background check. Updated Quarantine Guidelines
On November 12, Governor Parson’s announced updated guidelines for all K-12 schools in Missouri. The revised guidelines are designed to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 and to reduce the number of students and employees from being quarantined. However, in order for districts to utilize the updated guidelines, each district must adopt a mask mandate policy. At a special board meeting on November 23, the Doniphan R-1 Board of Education adopted a mask mandate policy. The updated guidelines will be implemented, Monday, November 30, 2020.

COVID-19 Antigen Testing (Rapid Test)
Doniphan R-1 has been approved to test school personnel and students for COVID-19 using a rapid antigen test. The district’s medical personnel (nurses) has completed the required training and are certified to administer the test. The test consists of a minimally invasive anterior nasal swab and yields results in 15 minutes.
